  Waterfront Engineering

Senior members on Long,  including the principal, come from a Naval Facilities design background.  Marinas, piers, wharves, bulkheads, groins, beach erosion, breakwaters and dredging are projects that are familiar through extensive design while in the employment of the Navy and in practice.

Current projects involve the use of vinyl sheeting for a replacement bulkhead in Margate, New Jersey.

Here again, the permitting process can be more tedious and the time consuming that the technical input.  Knowing this process is critical to success and our firm is very qualified in this respect.

Last but not least environmental concerns have to be at the top of the list and must be addressed in a responsible manner.  Our environmental consultant Joseph Arsenault, based in Franklinville, New Jersey is very well known in the specialty areas of wetlands and endangered species.
